TOUCH PANEL TECHNOLOGY FOR HIGH-POWERED SYSTEMS

Posted by admin

elatecYou may have encountered the concepts of industrial computing and embedded systems. These are concepts that are highly technical and non-tech savvy individuals would probably feel inadequate when made to work with them. ‘Feeling inadequate’ is actually an understatement here, as those without background whatsoever in these systems should not be allowed to work with them. For the benefit of us who have no idea what the terms refer to, an embedded computer is one that functions with special-purpose systems run by complex operating systems, microprocessors and peripherals to support operations that are supervised by government agencies and usually related to public utilities. An industrial computer, on the other hand, is one that combines this already properly embedded hardware with the finest functional software to provide high quality service particularly in the fields of transportation, medicine, aeronautics and even the military. (Ok, I know. I myself doubt if this has proven helpful.) Anyway, simply put, these are high powered systems that deal with the security and integrity of sensitive information.

However, even if you are dealing with advanced, high-powered systems like these, your computer peripherals need not be such a bore. You can integrate these systems with trendy computer units that use touch panel technology for compact, innovative computer use. Now maintaining these rigid systems do not need to be such a drab.
