Borrowed Eyeglasses
I have been wearing and using High-indexted Prescription Eyeglasses since I was in high school. The first time I went to my optometrist for my first set of prescription eyeglasses, she was astounded to know that for a first timer like me the grade of my glasses would be that high. That is 200/200 to be exact. I told her that I used to borrow my seatmate’s discounted reading eyeglasses whenever I would be copying our lessons from the blackboard since I can’t see clearly from my position at the back of the class. She told me that borrowing my seatmate’s eyeglasses could have caused my own eyes to deteriorate as far as seeing is concerned. Since then, from 1972, the first year I had my own set of high-indexted prescription eyeglasses, to this day, I think I had changed my high-indexted prescription eyeglasses more than ten times because every two years or more I have to change it as its grade became higher or it was broken and one or two times it got lost. A piece of advice: Don’t borrow someone else’s High-indexed prescription eyeglasses, especially if it doesn’t fit you (the eye grade, I mean) because it may do more harm than good.
